Day 74: Touched

Encouraging Your Spirit

TOUCHED.   People breeze past.  Quick prayers of request.  Momentary reflections.  I love these and I have more.  Stretch out your hand.  Dare to believe that I have power that flows out instantly.  I empower.  I heal.  I change.  I give … freely.  Lay down the desperation in faith.  I release healing.  Bite by bite go about life and food in peace.      

Bible Wisdom

Jesus replied, “Yes, but I felt power surge through me. Someone touched me to be healed, and they received their healing.” When the woman realized she couldn’t hide any longer, she came and fell trembling at Jesus’ feet. Before the entire crowd she declared, “I was desperate to touch you, Jesus, for I knew if I could just touch even the fringe of your robe I would be healed.” Jesus responded, “Beloved daughter, your faith in me has released your healing. You may go with my peace.” Luke 8:46-48

Prayer

God, I’m stretching out my hand.  You have so much more to do in and through me.  That you call me beloved and give peace.  How true and loving You are.  Grateful. In Jesus Name, Amen
