Lower in calories than my decadent cocoa balls but still chocolate goodness. Enjoy!
- 1/3 C Walnuts, Raw & Unsalted
- 1/2 C Almonds, Raw & Unsalted
- 2 Dates, pitted & soaked
- 1.5 tbps cocoa powder, unsweetened
- Tap water (1/4 tsp approx)
Add walnuts and almonds into the food processor. Mix until a crumble.
Add dates & cocoa powder. Blend until mixed. Use water to slightly moisten so that balls will roll together.
Roll into 1″ balls.
Put on a silicone (or wax paper) baking sheet. Set in freezer for 15-20 minutes til firm. Serve.
Recipe makes about 10-12 balls. At 67 calories each … have a couple! Enjoy
